Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the unsmoke mobile app ("unsmoke", "the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. By using unsmoke you agree to the practices described here.

The short version

Information stored on your device

To do its job, unsmoke saves the information you enter during setup and while using the app, including: the date you quit, how much you smoked, pack size and price, your currency, the goals you create, and your calculated savings and streak.

This data is stored locally on your device only, in an encrypted file. It is never transmitted to us, and we have no way to access it. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently deleted.

Analytics

unsmoke uses Unity Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example, which screens are reached and whether onboarding is completed — so we can improve it. This data is collected in a pseudonymous form and is not used to identify you personally. It may include technical details such as device model, operating system version, and country.

Unity's handling of this data is governed by Unity's privacy policy: unity.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Purchases

unsmoke offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock premium features. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment and your billing details — we never receive or store your payment information. Your purchase is tied to your Google account so it can be restored if you reinstall the app.

Google's handling of purchase data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Device identifiers

The Unity tools above may use device or installation identifiers to group analytics and crash data correctly. unsmoke does not use this information for advertising, and the app does not display ads.

How information is shared

We do not sell your information. Data is only processed by the service providers described above — Unity (analytics) and Google (app distribution and payments) — acting on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

Children

unsmoke is intended for adults who smoke and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.

Your choices

Because your personal app data lives only on your device, you are in full control of it: you can clear the app's data in your device settings, or uninstall the app, to delete it permanently. You can manage diagnostics and advertising-identifier settings through your Android device settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
